Artist Statement
“My work celebrates the vivid vitality and emotional landscapes of women. Drawing inspiration from Chinese cultural heritage, personal experience, and the expressive power of color and gesture, I explore the themes of feminine beauty, resilience, and wild inner freedom.
My paintings are rooted in expressionism, capturing moments of raw feeling rather than literal reality. Through energetic brushstrokes, vibrant contrasts, and flowing textures, I seek to bring to life the unseen — the pulse of emotion beneath the surface, the silent strength behind tenderness, the fierce spirit within softness.
My practice is deeply influenced by the spontaneity of life and the poetry of everyday existence. I believe that art is a living language — one that breathes, moves, and connects across boundaries. In a world often defined by rigidity, I use my work to carve out spaces for vulnerability, strength, and beauty to coexist.
Ultimately, my art is an ongoing conversation: between tradition and innovation, between self and other, between the fleeting moment and the eternal.”
